A ski and adventure travel journalist for more than 20 years, Peter Schroeder has skied and written about more than 150 major ski areas in North America and resorts throughout Europe and New Zealand as well as unique ski adventures in Turkey and China.

From his Northwest snowtime experiences, he knows firsthand where to find powder three days after a storm, runs that ski best in a white-out, and the gentlest trails for beginners. In addition, he can point you to the terrain parks with the biggest jumps or areas with affordable ski-school packages.

The Northwest holds special meaning in his heart because he has made Seattle his home for more than 20 years. He loves going through life with a snowcapped mountain always in sight.
